Telecommunications & Fiber Optic Installation Technician
Hands-on training in structured cabling, fiber placement and termination, splicing, and testing — the skills behind the broadband buildout happening across Texas right now. Delivered on campus in Temple, with a capstone field installation project. This program is not yet accepting enrollment while the fiber lab is completed.

Shared Foundation
FND-100 — 64 hours. Every student starts here, in both programs. It is a condensed, instructor-led version of our Twenty Two and Clueless™ program — workplace readiness, professional communication, money and benefits basics, safety, digital literacy, and the habits that hold a job after the first paycheck. It is the part most training programs skip, and the part employers tell us is missing.
Included in tuition — a $495 value, delivered at no additional cost to enrolled students.

Nobody hands you a manual for the rest of it. Our student support program does.
Finishing a program is only part of getting hired. Students also have to navigate transportation, documentation, banking, housing, interviews, first-day expectations, and the dozens of small systems nobody explains — the things that quietly end careers before they start.
Twenty Two and Clueless is the academy’s student navigation and success program. Each student gets a personalized roadmap of what needs to happen and when, tracked alongside their coursework, so the school can see where someone is stuck and step in before a small barrier becomes a withdrawal.
The name is a nod to a feeling, not an age limit. Twenty Two and Clueless is open to every student eighteen and older — whether you are twenty-two, forty-five, or starting over at sixty. Being new to something has nothing to do with how old you are.
It runs from enrollment and beyond placement, and it exists because most of our students are not starting from an easy place. That is not a weakness in the student. It is a gap in the system, and we built something to close it.

Women’s Transitional Workforce Residence
Olympus House is a women’s transitional workforce residence and a program of Regenerated Hope, a Texas nonprofit. A short program only works if a student can get to it. Housing is the barrier we hear about most, and it is what we are building next.
Most career training assumes the student already has a stable place to live within driving distance of campus. For a lot of the people we serve, that assumption is exactly what stops them — someone leaving incarceration, a veteran between situations, a young adult from a rural county two hours out, a student whose living arrangement changes mid-program.
The Temple campus at 1509 West Avenue J is adjacent to a residence that provides room and board for women students. It is not yet in service. Bringing it online is an active part of our campus build-out, and it is the reason our on-campus program is structured at seven weeks rather than a longer term — a short, defined stay makes relocating for training realistic in a way a two-year commitment never could.
Until it opens, admissions can talk through commute, transportation, and housing support options available through workforce, veteran, and youth-services programs, several of which fund supportive services separately from tuition.

After You Graduate
The Academy exists because our own company needs technicians — and so does every fiber contractor in Central Texas.
Decisive Data Technology Group operates the Academy and hires from it. Graduates are considered for fiber technician, structured cabling, and field technician roles across the Temple, Killeen, Waco, and DFW corridors — and we introduce graduates to the contractors we work alongside.
